Photo number 6:
It is true that the world has progressed much more in the last 50 years, since little by little we have grown as a population and as people, although there are still many consequences. Poverty is one of them, it is a catastrophe caused by ourselves, the government and the corruptions that exist today, because of this, in countries, cities and towns, people haven’t to eat, but are we aware? For this same reason I have chosen this image, since I think it transmits many feelings and at the same time makes us see the reality behind the luxurious life we live compared to the people who are in these circumstances.
In this photo we can see a rather dirty place without much protection, where the houses are only made with unpainted blocks and the roads are not very well built. We can appreciate a vehicle, not very luxurious, which could be a transport vehicle such as a bus, we can also observe that there are quite a few people with traditional clothing but dirty and a little broken, although we can highlight that there are more children than adult people. It can be said that it is a poor place since it is deduced by the appearance and the way things are conserved, it can also be deduced that it is a place in North Africa by the way people are dressed. But the one that stands out the most in this photo is the three kids with barrels in the hands, this three kids wearing traditional dresses, quite dirty and possibly a little broken, the children are mainly those who suffer poverty, since they are the ones who need to eat in order to survive, although at the same time they are the most innocent and possibly not so aware of what they are experiencing. But there is one thing that stands out and surprises on their faces, which is the happiness they show with those smiles on their faces. Seeing people in those circumstances makes me feel invulnerable, since I feel sad for the people who die and suffer, who do not have to eat or where to sleep because of the government, or for ourselves, just imagining being in his shoes gives me goose... And thinking that thousands of families go through this makes me feel sad and angry that I can't do anything.
This photo perfectly represents the meaning of poverty, although what we see in the photo is simply a small representation of what is happening in the world, since in other parts, this problem is suffered much more strongly, where children, adults and the elderly die...
