IS POVERTY A CHOSEN THING?

In our lives we can decide lots of things, like what to study, our clothing, our hairstyle, our friends, but also some other things can`t be decided by yourself like where you born, your poverty or things like that. In our group we have choose doing poverty on childhood because I thing is one of the most moving things of the world. I choose this photo because when I saw it, it causes me something in the stomach, when I saw it moving thins came to my mind so I choose it.

In the background, we can see a white house that seems that is in debris, also if we take a closer look we can see like smoke, this smoke can be from some ruins or from contaminant things. If we advance, we can see a narrow street with lot garbage and trash, also the walls of this streets are worn out. In the centre of the photo we can see two little child’s looking at the floor and thinking about the catastrophe that they are living. The little girl on the left is wearing a dirty, colourful, long sleeved t-shirt and a checked, red, green and pink skirt. The boy on the right is wearing a greyish, short sleeved t-shirt and a pair of greyish and dirty trousers. Both of them aren’t wearing shoes like a symbol of poverty.

Looking again at the photo it produces me sadness because of seeing what this people is living and in our country almost nobody tries to help this people donating money into NGO’s. Also it reminds me what would be this people future, because if we don’t help them they will suffer and almost of them will die.
